jQuery Multiple File Upload with Drag & Drop Support

jQuery File UploadjQuery plugin allows to upload multiple files by dragging and dropping them from your desktop or file manager to your browser window.

Plugin is based on open standards like HTML5 and JavaScript and requires no additional browser plugins (e.g. Adobe Flash). It gracefuly fallback for legacy browsers and uploads files via XMLHttpRequests if supported and uses iframes as fallback.

jQuery file upload plugin

Shows a progress bar indicating the upload progress for individual files. Individual file uploads can be canceled to stop the upload progress.

The plugin has been successfully tested with the following browser versions:
Google Chrome – 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, 10.0, Apple Safari – 5.0, Mozilla Firefox – 3.6, 4.0, Opera – 10.6, 11.0

Note: Drag & Drop is not supported on the Windows version of Safari and IE and Opera have no support for Drag & Drop, multiple file selection or upload progress indication.
